Activity: Tihuta Pass

Tihuta Pass is a high mountain Pass in Romania making the connection between Transylvania and Bukovina. The pass was made famous by the Irish writer Bram Stoker, who placed Dracula’s castle on this pass, naming it Borgo Pass. The pass is home to Dracula’s castle, a hotel built during communism time to attract tourism in the area.

In the basement of the Hotel you can walk down the basement looking for Dracula’s Coffin, which you will find in a dark room. with murals depicting life around the castle during world wide famous vampire.

More than its connection with the blood thirsty Count Dracula, the area is famous for its incredible beauty, mountains, forests and winding roads.
